Well, Right now I am only trying to learn the program. If you read my profile you will see that I am a hobbyist and I am only in the startup stage right now.

My plan is to learn how to use Sketchup now then by the time I am ready to open the business I will know how to use the program efficiently enough to spend the money on the Pro Version. This is a great topic, and a very nice way you have explained of thinking about what to use.

Now select the command or tool which you want to assign shortcut key and type your desired key in Add Shortcut box of this dialog box. Now press plus button of this box and it will come in Assigned box that mean your shortcut key has been assigned to your desired command.

Now press Ok button to save to change. I told you about almost every important shortcut keys of this software so that you can make your work easy in this software.

There is one plus point for you also that you can customize shortcut keys for any command or tools according to your suitability. Now you can start using these shortcut keys of different command as well as tools in this software during working on any project work and it will definitely help you in different ways. Q Used to rotate any selected element. Users can turn a copy and save the original component in place by pressing the Ctrl key. Users can designate the angle of rotation by writing the angle and pressing the Enter key.

S Used to scale the size of a particular element up or down. Press the Ctrl key to scale about the center of the current element Used to scale the object uniformly. Users can press the Shift key to do this. Users can designate the scale factor by writing the number and pressing the Enter key. You can specify the factor in length units by typing in the units after the number.

Spacebar Used to select elements with this particular tool. Users can add to the present selection by pressing the Ctrl key.
